The 22-year-old wore a full-body kit and hijab but still managed to flash some mid-riff (centre) as she finished seventh in her first-round heat, meaning she did not qualify for the finals. But her efforts still won her plenty of fans across the globe, with women taking to social media to mark the event and praise her for the achievement.
