Rapper Bun B got into a shootout with an armed robber who tried to make off with his wife's luxury car.
According to TMZ, the masked thief, who has since been identified as Demonte Jackson, knocked on the door of the rapper's home. His wife, Queenie, answered the door to be confronted with Jackson who pointed a gun at her and demanded valuables.
Queenie directed him towards to garage where her Audi was sitting, but her husband heard the noise, and came downstairs and got into a shootout with the thief.
Jackson was shot and fled from the scene leaving his gun behind. He was arrested after he turned up at the hospital two hours later to be treated for his gunshot wound in his shoulder.
Jackson was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one count of burglary. No word as yet from Bun B.
